Eschenbach Optik of America is the source for the widest selection of magnification products manufactured by a single company. We produce magnification devices and systems such as reading lenses, magnification visors, hands-free optical products, electronic and digital magnification, plus many types of illuminated magnifiers. These products have proven to be ideal for everyday assembly, inspection and other tasks and hobbies, as well as for those living vision impairment.
.
Printers, silk-screeners, PCB manufacturers, quality control workers, collectors of coins, stamps and antiques, naturalists, needle-workers, forensics specialists, hobbyists, conservators, geologists and many others use magnifiers and hand-held microscopes on a daily basis.
By utilizing various types of magnification devices, one can easily increase the speed of assembly, improve inspections, enhance quality control, facilitate manufacturing of small parts, observe lesions, implant a tooth, or just investigate and observe very small objects.
Keep in mind that for all magnifiers, there is a general relationship between the three key specifications for a lens: the diameter, the focal length (working distance between the surface and the lens), and the power.
Generally speaking, a higher magnifying power will have a smaller diameter/field of view and shorter focal or working distance than a lower power magnifier. That's why, for example, it is not optically possible to make a 1 x 1 linen tester in 50X or why the 20X inspection loupe has a smaller lens than the 12X and less room to work underneath.
Eschenbach Optik of America is pleased to offer telephone or online consulting service to assist you in selecting the proper magnification solution for your interest or occupation. If you don't see the magnifier you want, please call, fax, or e-mail and we’ll find one to suit your need.
