Iluminated Hand-held Magnifiers

Illuminated hand-held magnifiers provide magnification and illumination for spotting tasks and they are ideal for in-home uses such as looking up phone numbers, setting the thermostat, or reading the prescription on a medicine bottle.

LED (light emitting diode) illumination provides a type of light source preferred by many patients due to its distinctly whiter spectrum and longer useful life.  In addition to the LEDs offering nearly unlimited life, the batteries last 5 times longer than those used with incandescent bulbs!  These features provide lower usage costs throughout the life of the product.

To soften the color of the light, Eschenbach includes a small yellow filter with each illuminated hand-held magnifier should glare become a problem.

LED hand-held magnifiers have an aspheric PXM lens with cera-tec hard coating to prevent scratches.  Two AA batteries are included along with a protective case.

Portability makes these magnifiers useful for spotting a price in the super market, reading a menu in a dimly lit restaurant, or looking at a map in the car.
