Hello. My name is Bill. I work as a dockhand for a nationwide freight carrier. In May 98 I had a retinal detachment. And had to have surgery. It happened 3 more times after that. My doctor recommended a pair of magnifying spectacles for reading and other near tasks (noves eyewear from Eschenbach – 5x). Due to my visual condition, I am unable to read without the assistance of a magnifier. The eyewear recommended allows me to read with my hands-free, something I have not enjoyed in a long time.
Having used strong spectacles in the past, I have also found the new eyewear to be much lighter in weight than previous pairs I have used, and although not an important factor in my decision making, I find them to be more attractive as well. As a former academic, reading has always been an important part of my life, and I hope to be able to read more often, more comfortably with my new eyewear.
